Birthdays seem to take on a whole new meaning when you become a parent. I could really (honestly) have cared less if we did anything for my birthday. We did brunch with my parents and grandparents the previous weekend.
On my "real" birthday, we had a typical day.... which always means... photoshoot! Because I just can't get enough of this little creature.
My new teething necklace just so happened to arrive on my birthday.... I'll write a separate post on that because I'm in love.
We went to dinner as a little family at a new place we were dying to try. Coal fire PIZZA.
McKenna tried a piece of sourdough bread at dinner and wasn't impressed.
Kevin made me a tearjerker of a movie as my gift (he FINALLY listened to me when I said I didn't want him to spend money). It's probably one of the best gifts I have ever been given. It is pictures of McKenna from birth to 6 months.
Overall I had an incredible birthday. I'm so blessed to have a wonderful little family, and I'm so excited for the year ahead to round out my twenties with Kevin and McKenna by my side.
